<p>Hi all. My S is at Elon and is returning to Johns Hopkins Hospital for a Summer (June / July) research internship. He is looking for a rental, room, or sublet. Last year he stayed at a hospital owned residence but this year due to construction it is unavailable. </p>
<p>I was wondering if anyone has any contacts or recommendations. He is trying to stay as close to the hospital as possible, as safely as possible, and as economically as reasonable. </p>

<p>I don’t think he wants to live in the immediate area. Would suggest having him live near Homewood campus and take the shuttle.</p>

<li><p>use craigslist. Last summer there were a lot of sublets from students available. May be a bit late though since school ended a week ago.</p></li>
<li><p>check and see if he would qualify for on campus housing. If so, Charles Commons rooms for sublet would be great although not cheap. DS did manage find one of these last summer for $500/mo</p></li>
<li><p>I may be able to check and see if DS has friends with a room available, or even a living room to crash in. PM me if you are interested.</p></li>

<p>Is he in a fraternity? I know several sorority girls from my daughter and niece’s schools (2 dif ones) who have summer work in DC and are staying at sorority houses in Georgetown I think. Might work for the guys as well. If not actual house, then just fraternity network.</p>
