Hotel Recommendations

I’m planning a visit to Cal Poly for a weekend soon. Does anyone have any recommendations for a nice place to stay?

We’ve stayed at the Sands at 1930 Monterey Street

Nothing fancy, clean, free wi-fi, decent breakfast and about $100 on expedia for 2 queen beds. Here are some others:

Here’s another thread on hotels: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/cal-poly-san-luis-obispo/677054-where-stay-when-visiting-cal-poly.html?highlight=hotels</a>
For others just use the Search function.

Peachtree Inn is nice - 1 king or 2 doubles, so we only stay there if it’s hubby and me. Small rooms, but clean. Beautiful grounds and a nice cont. breakfast. Very nice people that work there. Days Inn is nice. Both around the same price - not too pricy. And, right near the Grand Ave. entrance to Cal Poly.

I think there are some inns on Santa Rosa as well that are pretty nice. They’re not fancy, but they’re clean, and they are right near the freeway offramp.
