House system

I like Smith and Rice's house system. But I dont want to go to Smith because it's a girls' school and I don't think I'll go to Rice because i've never been to Texas..and also because i don't tink i'll get in.

Are there any other schools that have a housing system like theirs? where basically you're assigned a "house" where you live and do everything together with those people. I like this idea.

UChicago has house system. [House Profiles](http://housing.uchicago.edu/college_houses/)

The most comprehensive list I have found is at the website “The Collegiate Way”.
The site lists residential colleges around the world, and you can search by country.

Remember that some colleges offer one dorm like that, like Preston at University of South Carolina, even if the rest of the school is traditionally housed.
