Hi,
I am trying to find out more about Middlebury, and was wondering if athletes have a different housing situation than other students. I know that a lot of other colleges have athletes in separate housing, does Middlebury do the same?
Thanks!

As a first-year student, rooming assignments are random. In subsequent years, there is a room draw, so you can decide who you want to live with/near. If members of a team want to get together and live in a house or dorm together, they can choose to do so.

Middlebury mixes athletes in with the rest of the students (as Arcadia pointed out). Strangely enough, my first year I was on a hall with four Hockey players. Before I arrived at Midd I would have thought that was my worst nightmare playing out, but they all turned out to be great guys and I became a big hockey fan. Cheer boys Cheer . . .
