<p>Hi, my son is coming in for athletics, is there a particular dorm that is closer to hickie gym than another, or a dorm that traditionally has more athletes live in? How difficult is it to get a single room if wanted? thanks</p>
<p>I know that cuarto has a pool and jacuzzi, but I think I would rather live on campus. Is there some kind of community pool for the people who live in dorms where there isn't one available? Or a recreational pool in the ARC?</p>
<p>ok SEGUNDO!! is definitely rite next to the ARC (rec center). i love the arc, go every day. :)
and of course tercero is like a 5 minute bike ride (like 2 football fields you bike by and voila)</p>
<p>the rec pool is across the street from the arc, but is closed during the winter months (octoberish-?). how i wish there was a pool IN the ARC.</p>
<p>hickey pool is open year-round, by the MU, but you have to make sure it's open for when you want to go. like weekends it's open for lap swim 12-1 lol.</p>

<p>sadly the schaal aquatic center (right next to the stadium) is only open to the swim team or something.</p>
<p>In previous years the housing information wasn't available until early May after the freshman SIR deadline. I'm sure it will be the same this year; although, I don't know an exact date.</p>
