Housing at DePaul.

Can someone clear this up? I like what DePaul has to offer; I plan on applying (if I do apply) to the School of Commerce.

To start off, I come from NYC, so yes I do want to leave NYC, venture out and get the full "college experience." When I look into a college, EVERYTHING matters, from the safeness of the area to on cmapus housing being garunteed for 4 years. What is turning me off about DePaul are the stories of students being forced to sign apartment leases mid-late freshman year. Like I said, I want the full college experience. If I wanted to live in an apartment I would stay in NYC, and commute from home to college.

Can a current DePaul, or someone please clear this housing situation up for me?

It's funny how they don't mention this on the site.

Anyone? 10char

My son is just starting as a freshman but when we took the tour the tour guide was a sophomore and lived in the dorms. She said it was possible. Housing for sophomore year needs to be done during the winter quarter.
