I'm in Balch. Totally unexpected. Is this because I answered "No preference" for the coed or women-only question?

I read from another post that the second number is actually the floor number. Does anyone know?

Gah ... I got a single even though I requested a double ..... any way I can switch

Bleh...where's Cayuga when you need him? I'm sure he can answer my question from page 1..

wait wait wait....the last number means occupancy?

it says my room type is UG Triple, but my room number is DKSN 2680-2. Does that mean that there are only 2 people in my room?

Awww I got a single...wanted a double

I got 3XXB BAUER HALL....Is Bauer good?

anyone know anything about donlon hall?

i got a single in balch.
which is what i asked for, so im happy :)

Hey soccer_guy472, aren't you a transfer? Why do you have your room already?

I have no idea? The people listed on there as occupants are 21 and 19 - so I would guess they are transfers too.

soccer_guy was accepted early on and so it is possible for those transfers who were accepted and deposited fairly early to have a room assignment now.

Back when I was accepted I found out my room assignment on the 1st day that all freshman students found out.

I still don't understand your post. First, when you log into the housing portal, where does it appear? and second, you have five different names there? as if you were 6 in a room??

I think he's in a West Campus suite and the other names listed should be the suitemates.

Ok, thanks dewdrop87! Do you know when regular transfers can expect the asignment?

Depends on when you submitted your housing application. If you submitted early, you'll find out soon.

Don't worry though...all incoming transfers are guaranteed Cornell housing.

Yes, but who knows where...anyway, I don't have any idea of which one is better so I guess I don't have anything to worry about..

I'm pretty sure all the transfer housing will be on West Campus....I'd say as long as you're not in the Gothics you're fine :-)

Even Keeton is for transfers?

yes int.

this little bit from the online housing website is odd: "Transfer Students will be able to apply for housing beginning Monday, June 16, at 12:00 noon."

Hm, I applied online several weeks ago...dare I apply again?

If you've already filled out your forms you've got nothing to worry about. I'm not sure what that blurb from housing was.
