<p>Is the housing deadline May 3rd or May 7th?</p>
<p>On my Berkeley checklist it says May 7th, but on the Cal Housing website, it says May 3rd....</p>

<p>but to be safe i'd assume it's today and just go do it...it would be really sucky to lose your housing guarantee.</p>

<p>I just emailed housing and this was their automatic response:</p>

<p>Housing offers were already made for continuing students.
Unfortunately we do not have any more spaces to offer to continuing students at
this time; if you are on the waiting list we recommend looking for
off-campus housing. Cal Rentals (<a href="http://calrentals.berkeley.edu/%5B/url%5D">http://calrentals.berkeley.edu/</a>) provides
rental listings and housing advising to the UC Berkeley campus community
and eligible visitors. Contact them at <a href="mailto:homeinfo@berkeley.edu">homeinfo@berkeley.edu</a>. </p>
<p>New students: You will be able to submit your housing application using
your CalNet ID and passphrase a few days after the payment is
processed for your Statement of Intent to Register. Housing is assigned by
random lottery, so your application date does not affect your housing

And it is May 7th for sure; I emailed CalLiving and they confirmed it was May 7th, Wednesday.</p>
<p>I applied for housing today just in case. </p>
<p>I can't find the page anymore where it said May 3rd, but honestly I do recall that there was a page on Cal Living where it said May 3rd.
But....you can scratch that. :)</p>
<p>I looked at the actual application last night and it said the deadline was May 3rd so i did it right away. weird.</p>
