I sent in my deposit last week and I'm getting quite impatient waiting for the housing notification. How long did it take you to get yours and it comes through your NYU email account, correct?</p>

<p>It took around 1 1/2 - 2 weeks for my son to hear after we sent in his housing deposit. (As I recall, he got an email from Housing Office with instructions.)</p>
<p>However, his deposit was sent a few weeks ago, likely before the rush of people now who have finally confirmed their decisions to attend NYU (by 5/1). So maybe your Housing notification will take a little longer. Not sure about this, but just wanted to point out the current likely higher volume may or may not affect the time it will take NYU to respond to students submitting deposits in the past week or so.</p>
<p>Perhaps the electronically generated instructions will not be too delayed (once deposits received are logged into their system).</p>
