<p>I really recommend the major specific option. I live in a single sex dorm on the Honors/Engineering floor and it's great. You may be thinking "Wow...nerd central," but it was really nice to see how many of the girls were normal and fun.</p>
<p>But really, the main thing is to look at the dorms and see which one you like best. I don't know how your campus is set up, but distance from food and classes is a biggy...especially when the weather is less than ideal.</p>
<p>I'd sujest Freshmen dorms or honors dorms. I can't really comment on the latter, though, since my school doesn't have them. But I'm living in a Freshmen dorm right now, and I love it. I love getting to live with both sexes, and yo get to know people with all sorts of different interests (which would be less true in major specific dorms). Definitly don't do Greek houses freshman year!</p>
