Is there a separate bill for housing? In BAR I have a balance for student account but nothing in my housing account.

google ucla housing.

More specifically, how can I check the balance on it? All I can find is a link to pay the bill but it doesn’t list my balance anywhere.

Never mind, found it.

its kinda dumb but this is how it works…

you first go to “view housing account”, check your balance, and see how much you have to pay. then, you remember that number, go back to myhousing, click on “students/tenants make a housing payment”, then pay that number.

at least thats how i do it. maybe theres a more efficient way lol.

^thats how you do it, lol.

Assuming that I pay the same amount for tuition and housing for three quarters it seems that my cost at UCLA will be less than the estimated cost. Anyone notice the same thing?

Also financial has not been distributed yet right?

The estimated cost includes a lot of things in which you might not necessarily spend as much money as they estimate you will. Look at this chart and make your own estimate as to how much you will be spending on this year.

They factor in books and other general spending.
