I recently read that each floor on the del rey's have two separate wings for each gender. Are guys allowed to go to the girls wing and vice versa? Is it possible to have a couple of friends over from each gender and watch a movie together?

Absolutely, guys and girls are allowed to go to the opposite wing. However, the hallway doors automatically lock after 10 p.m. During that time, your “LMU OneCard” (house key) will only open the wing that you belong to. It’s okay for guys and girls to roam the hallways, and people watch movies together all the time. LMU just discourages students of the opposite gender to stay overnight in the dorms. (Several students do it anyway. As long as you don’t do anything in the rooms that you would get you in trouble, you’ll be fine. No RA isn’t going to write you up for watching a movie.).

By the way, I love living in Del Rey South. The Del Reys are one of the newer freshmen dorms. They’re very nice.

Sorry for the errors!

Thanks for the clarification, I was worried for a moment haha!
