Has anybody on the west coast received a letter yet? We were told at the summer send-off in LA that the letters had been mailed last week and that info would be online as of today. So far we haven't seen a letter and online just says check back after August 1.

Also, do these letters give instructions how to reserve move-in time?

I'm not on the west coast, but I can answer your other question. I got my letter and there are instructions. August 4th, you go to nyu.edu/welcome and log in. then you can register for a move in time =)

well, I'm in Tisch and we had to register for classes already. it said we could start at noon on June 18, so I strolled on in at 12:15. 15 minutes late and a lot of the classes I wanted were full. so my recommendation to you: if the timing of your move-in is important, log in right at noon!

I live in Ohio and I haven't gotten mine yet. You can find out what dorm you're in by going to Albert >> Bursar >> Account Summary and it has your dorm charges on your account.

Still waiting for roommate stuff though... :/

kthn, zoolander - are either of you on the west coast?
A week should have been plenty of time for snail mail...
If you call them they will probably tell you to wait until it's posted on the website.

Packet came yesterday. Really wish they had floorplans somewhere (would be nice to have more specific size info, outlets, etc., esp. as we have very limited time to take care of move in).

I've asked housing if, going forward, they might consider providing a floorplan, especially when it's apartment style. Lots of other schools provide generic floorplans (4-person suite, single, etc.). NYU has to have floorplans for maintenance, etc. If we wanted to puchase a rug for the 'living room' or for S's room, who knows how big (or small) that space actually is...

Do you have to pay the tuition first in order to get the package cuz I didn't pay it yet and I am not sure if that is the reason why I didn't receive them.
