Hi, I require some advice on the choice of housing at Case. I looked up the various selections available but everything was almost the same. I usually like socializing but also need some time to study(max. 4 hrs). So, in this case, which one would be the best for me? Also, are there any other criteria which I should keep in mind while making my selection?

Thanks

I'm not 100% sure i understand your question. Are you an incoming freshmen? are you looking in regards to the different residential colleges? please clarify

The main things to realize are:

Not all rooms are made the same. For example, the singles in Storrs are much smaller than on the FIRST FLOOR of Smith.

The college themes don't matter at all. There is no real difference between Ceder, Mistletoe, and whatever the hell the other one is.

are you deciding between the quad setup and the regular hall setup?

If so, I personally prefer the quad setup. I was in the normal halls for my freshman year, but those that were in the quads seemed much closer/more social with one another.

I did live in a quad am a huge advocate for quad-style---I loved the closeness, but I've also heard good things from some of my friends on halls.

I would suggest the quad. I lived in a box, and although I made great friends, I wish I had the community of a quad.

Also, don't diss on Juniper...
