maybe try pming chris? or contacting stony brook admissions on your housing question?

I called them, they couldn't help me with anything

Have you tried contacting Campus Residences directly instead of asking admissions? They probably won't be able to tell you anything for sure at this point, but they might be willing to hint about chances.

My guess is the most important factor in whether transfers get housing is where they are with de-tripling freshmen--I think these days they won't bring new residents on campus until they're done de-tripling everyone who wants to be. So perhaps Campus Res will be willing to share with you where they are on the de-tripling lists, and what that type of progress has meant in past years for transfer housing.

Yea Campus Residence is who I called. I'm just upset because it feels like I'm being strung along. I can't get a straight answer out of anyone. I need to know so I can A) Drop my winter classes at Kingsborough and B) start shopping and stuff. I'd have to be there by the 25th I know, and even with 3 weeks I know I'm gonna feel stressed. If there's less time, it's gonna be even more stressful. And on top of that, I just want to know. I'm going back and forth in my head on yes I'll get, no I won't, and I swear I'm giving myself an ulcer.

We're also on break -- offices have been closed for two weeks. I'll try to have some kind of answer tomorrow. If you want, e-mail or call me so I can check on your specific situation.

Chris

I apologize chris, I didn't know you were on beak.

Also, where can I email you/call you?

So I had to drop my winter classes at Kingsborough, but I still haven't found out about housing. Let's just hope this all works out...
