Okay a friend of mine who is on the same lottery number as me just got a call from housing. They basically said that we either have to take a leased property or remain pending. I am not sure what this means. If we remain pending does that mean we are no longer guaranteed housing? Do we HAVE to take the leased property if we want to get housing. I am really confused and not quite sure what we should do at this point. I called back the lady that called my friend and she never picked up and I am assuming that she has left her office. Its friday today so I don't know if she will call back at all. Is anyone else experiencing something similar?

bump .

Your friend should call back on monday. Try the generic housing line if the particular woman doesn’t pick up. No one here can really answer any of your questions, because this is pretty new. Leased housing isn’t bad, and my friends who have stayed in it really like it. But you should clarify if “pending” means “not guaranteed”.

Again, only the housing office is really going to be able help you with this.
