If you have a modern triple dorm, does that mean you share a bathroom with six people or just the three in your room. Do triple rooms have bunk beds, or three separate beds? I want to know b/c i can't decide if i'd rather have a modern triple or traditional double. modern double is my first choice.

What is the social environment/ community like for floors in modern vs. traditional dorms?
Are guys and girl's dorms separated into wings or are they integrated?

Are the bathrooms in traditional dorms locker room style or are there several private bathrooms in the hallway?

The modern triples I knew had 1 bathroom for the 3 of them.

I’ve seen it with both layouts. Bunkbeds mean more floor space, but it wasn’t 100% necessary. My friends that bunked switched off with who had the top every month or so.

You’ll have people that say that traditional is far more social. I entirely disagree. It’s your floor that decides this, not traditional v modern. I had a modern, and had one of the most social floors.

Integrated. All floors are co-ed. Your suite will be all-guys/girls, but your next door neighbors could be the opposite sex.
The only exception I’m aware of is one of the traditional dorms has a floor that only has ~6 people… and my year it just happened to be all girls.

Locker room style.
