Housing

Im a rising senior and i have some questions about housing...because of some personal family circumstances theres a high posibility that my sister is moving with me when i go to college, so i was wondering if living off camous since the first year could count against me??? :/

I don’t really understand what you’re trying to say. But it sound’s like you lived off campus since your freshmen year, and now you’re trying to live in the dorms with your sister?

Im sorry if i didnt explain myself that well. Im from texas and since my mom is a single mother and shes moving back to her hometown when i go to college for financial reasons (my mom is still here just for me so i wont be by myself) but my sister is like my bestfriend almost twin so its very hard for us to be separated and because im going out of state shes moving with me thats why i think it would be better for us to live together to save money but im not sure if that could affect me since im living offcampus

Depends on the school. Yale, for example, requires firstyears to live on campus, but most other schools do not. That could be a point for you to research as you’re looking for colleges.

You need to talk with the Bursar’s office and explain your story. They are usually very willing to let you live off campus, if you have a probably cause.

*Probable cause

(Typing on my cell phone! Lol)

tbh, to me that doesn’t sound like a good enough reason if the school has a policy for freshman living on campus.
