Housing

Hey guys, I’m an Australian going across to UNM for 2nd semester next year. Heard a lot about American college life especially the social part. Exchange students are allowed to live in Centennial Hall, University Village or Middlebrook Hall. Any recommendations on where to stay for the most social atmosphere? From research that looks to be Centennial Hall, I’m leaning towards that but saw that University Village is a bit more comfortable to stay in. For social events is it hall specific or can you generally go along even if you don’t live in that hall? Discomfort doesn’t bother me all that much, basically want the best experience for the semester.

Cheers,

Middlebrook is the honors and art LLC dorm so tends to be a bit quieter than the others. Also, it’s on the West Bank which seems to be a big downer for the party-goers. It’s probably not a party dorm. Lucky the kids who live there (IMHO)!

Haha thanks mate, it’s sorta the vibe I got from reading the other forums haha. I’ll decide between the other two
