housing

i know there have been a couple threads about this a while ago, but how is the major vs housing generally distributed? anyone know where freshman business students live?

Northeastern has several living learning communities or theme housing, including one for business students. When you apply for housing you can request to live in a living learning community. Students with the same major or interest all live on the same floor in one of the dorms. According to the NEU housing website, the College of Business floor is in Stetson East which is one of two large all-freshmen dorms and houses one of the two main dining halls.

Housing isn't devided by major unless you choose to live in a LLC [living-learning community], so there's no designated housing for Biz majors [congrats on your acceptanace by the way].

thank you!

i know ppl saying that honors program housing is good~
but is there anything bad abt it?
im not saying it has to be bad at some point...but just wondering~

kyky, the honors program housing may be too new to have anything wrong with it, except possibly that it's right on campus and doesn't have that 'city' feel that the old honors housing (kennedy) did. But that's strictly subjective. Also, twizzles, my D is a neuroscience major - and 3 of her 4 suite mates are in business. So for freshmen, it varies.

Parents can stay in West Village housing during summer orientations if they attend; I did, and believe me, it is very nice housing!! The only other drawback I can think of is that West Village is a little farther away from the dining halls and many of the other freshmen (many freshmen are in the all-freshman Stetson halls). So if you are in WVF the only other freshmen around will be the other honors freshmen since the rest of West Village is for upperclasses. But it is a very short walk to the dining halls.
