You could try emailing the RAs in charge of those programs.

Is it normal for Hill windows to not have window screens? Wouldn’t it make sense for all the windows to have them because it is so hot? Is there anything that we can bring in place of one?

Hill double 5th choice. No air conditioning, yuck!!!

I got a hill double and it wasn’t even one of my choices :(

i’m in harnwell.

What is going on? I have heard so many people did not get their top 3 choices and some have gotten into programs they did not apply to and choices that were not even on their list. Strange lottery cycle! I guess we all make the best of it.

Has anyone not received theirs yet?! I can log into Campus Express but under “view my assignment” it says “You have no upcoming housing” I have yet to see if I received a letter, but I’m going to call them if I didn’t. Is anyone in a similar circumstance or am I really the only one?

hill double (4th choice) … Looks like I need to go buy some fans! Anyone else on floor three

hey everyone
this is a future UPenn EDer (yeah 2014!)
I REALLY LOVE PENN, but one thing that worries me is the way that a lot of people don’t live on campus after freshman year and how the housing is all spread out and how all freshmen don’t live together
coming from you guys who are getting rooming assignments, what do you think of this? and what do you think of how penn creates a community w/o necessarily living together?

thanks a bunch :)

Seeing all of this happen, this is one thing I don’t like about Penn. The housing is too different and disjointed. Not a fan of any of the housing so far and school has not even started!!

hill single 5th floor!

Harrison
First choice.

I got a Hill double, and it wasn’t ANY of my choices…does anyone know if there’s any way at all we can switch? or do we just have to live with it?

Hill single here too

Fisher-- Lippincott 2nd floor Law & Society :)

adwoasey,
this is the procedure for changing rooms however doesn’t look like anything can be done until OCT. If you reject your choice you are not guaranteed housing.

Housing lottery did not go well at all! Good Luck!

yeah I might appeal myself…I got stuck in Kings Court (wasn’t even a choice). At least it’s not Hill I suppose.

citylights919- thanks, I emailed housing and they said basically the same thing.
I think i will definitely try to change, I mean i would have put up with ANYTHING but Hill…ANYTHING

njaznpremed,
Thanks from those of us who are stuck in Hill! Haha! How did so many people get their 5th, 6th 7th or not even their choice. Ugggh!

The Hill people have my sympathies. When I visited, the whole place seemed like a prison. Good luck with that…

Oh and in my case I only put three choices (all in the Quad).
