I love to write; I have a collection of some poems at hand :]]
My recs will be pretty stellar, as I'm pretty close with a few teachers.

Chance me for:
Dartmouth, Duke, Harvard (HAHA no.), Amherst, Emory, UC Berkeley, UCLA, Brown, Swarthmore, and any general comments would be appreciated. What am I lacking?

Thanks! Twas a lengthy read.

Looks good, the rest is really up to chance, cuz you are applying to ivies. if you really are a good writer, by all mean, submit your best pieces as writing supplements to the privates.

Dartmouth: in/waitlist
Duke: in/waitlist
Harvard: sorry, but you will need to do something really extraordinary for an acceptance letter
Amherst: most likely in
Emory: in
UC Berkeley: in
UCLA: in
Brown: in (unless that huge surge of applicant remains)
Swarthmore: in

Seriously don’t take too many SATIIs. You only need a max of three.

Mm, thank you for your feedback! I know Harvard is a large reach, don’t worry :)

I’ve been told I need to bring up my SAT II’s, though…Considering I can only submit one math and I’m going to be focusing more on humanity-based majors more than math/science ones…

I think you’ve got a very good chance at Dartmouth, Duke, UCB, UCLA, Brown, and Emory.
Harvard - just do your best, lol. no one knows.

Overall I think you have very interesting and diverse EC’s that you perform well at. You probably need to a strong science SAT II (you’re taking chem right?) but that’s if you need something to work on.

Thanks, Cyberchondriac!

Mm, I don’t know if SAT Chemistry will have anything to do with my possible future major, but I’m just taking it to take it, since I just took the AP test for it  I’m thinking of submitting US, Spanish, and some other SAT II for schools that need three… Should I include a math/science one even if I DETESTTTT math and won’t touch it in college?

You will get into Emory.
I live in Georgia so a lot of students at my school apply to Emory as a safety/“cheaper” alternative and for some of them, their credentials are nowhere near as good as yours.

Dartmouth: 40%
Duke: 40%
Harvard: 15%
Amherst: 60%
Emory: 100%
UC Berkeley: 80%
UCLA: 90%
Brown: 30%
Swarthmore: 30%

Chance me back?
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/718960-chance-me-i-will-love-you-forever.html

I think you’ll get into every school, almost definitely, except Harvard. That will be the luck of the draw – it’ll hinge on if something about you (in the interview, essay, or rec) grabs their attention. You’re a stellar applicant.

Thank you for the chances! My dream school is Dartmouth, so I’ll probably try doing ED for it.

And, @ just4mywubbies, I used to live near Atlanta too, but I was too young to know about Emory then C: I hope I’ll get in!
