How about NYU's MSIS program

MSIS = Master of Science in Information Systems, led by CS Dept, with Stern Business School.
details: <a href="http://cs.nyu.edu/web/Academic/Graduate/msis.html%5B/url%5D">http://cs.nyu.edu/web/Academic/Graduate/msis.html</a></p>

I've arleady got ads from UPitt, UIC, and UNC@Charlotte, still I'm waiting for several other better schools, one of which is this NYU's.

I knew NYU has a big name in NYC and i seriously want to start my career in Financial system with IT background. Does anyone know about its job outcome or competiveness in Newyork?

I heard a similar program by Columbia is better than this...is that real?

I was also looking at the MSIS program. Any takers?

I knew a guy in this program and he said final job placement depends on one's own capacity and background. The name of Stern may help in some sense.

Courses would be bit difficult for students without any CS background.

If anyone else know anything, just put through...

I received an email telling that I'm admitted to NYU MSIS. Any further idea about this program??

The subprime crisis seems to be a problem when I graduate from NYU...
