They seem vastly different to the PR book's tests and way easier than the Kaplan tests. So exactly how accurate are they?

My scores on the Spark Notes tests were about 50 points lower than my score on the official test from College Board.

Obviously though, it varies from person to person depending on what their strengths and weaknesses are (different tests emphasize different things).

Oh, i get 700 on those, but 750 on the mcgraw-hill…

Interesting. Maybe I need to concentrate more on book tests like I did on the online ones. I received a horrible score from the 1st Kaplan test but I’m in the 680-750 range on the Online sparknotes. I was figuring the online sparknotes tests are easier but guess I’m wrong?

I got a 710 on Sparknotes and a 660 on PR. Which one should be more trusted?

^I have the same question as the previous person.

I scored 700 and 730 on PR, 730, 740, 760, 780 on Sparknotes

Which is more accurate?

bump…

670 on Spark Notes and 770 on Barron’s. This doesn’t make sense.

Idk but I just felt that PR was much harder than any other test I have taken. Hoping that Sparknotes is more realistic

Okay this is what Spark Notes did to me today.

B is not the correct answer. You should have selected B .

It’s horrible. And, don’t take this in a bad way or anything, but apparently PR is the most accurate of all the review books and Spark Notes is harder. So I’m not sure, you’re like a confounding variable or something.

Lol I guess we will just have to wait until Saturday. Right now I am just praying I can break the 700 barrier

I think that the fluctuations are less based on the book than the areas in which you score best. If the specific test you took in one book highlighted phylum (ugh) you may have done worse than a test in another book that had more on genetics. But, if you read the book then I guess it does help being familiar with its wording.

Well, I found the Spark Notes tests were like taking AP Bio all over again, but with a year in between having a class and taking the test. The Spark Notes exams have 100 questions, the SAT has 80. The Spark Notes exams will tell you its wrong when you got it right sometimes. And I noticed that when I was checking over my test, my answers had been switched…? The material is much more in-depth than you’ll really need for the SAT.
