I would like to know how accurately do your PSAT and PLAN scores reflect the the range predicted for your future SAT and ACT scores? Since I'll be taking my SAT and ACT this coming school year I would just like to know the level I'm at so I can properly prepare for my tests.

For those who answer, if possible, can you post your PSAT/PLAN scores and SAT/ACT scores so that there'll be a visual comparation?

S's PLAN predicted score for ACT - 27-31, actual ACT score - 30. The prediction was right on the money....

PSAT scores predicted SAT scores pretty accurately for me.

PSAT: 213, 228, 229
SAT: 2310

PSAT: 210
SAT: first try 2120, second try 2330.

it all depends on how much you prepare. i didn't study at all for the psat (nor did i really care that much) but i did study for the SAT.
also, the essay could help you a lot.

I think i got like 200 points lower on the REAL SAT.

Maybe I was just nervous?

[re-took it and it was about my PSAT score actually]

psat 183, 188
sat 1900, 2020
i haven't studied for the tests yet. Hopefully studyig can bring me over 2100.

Psat: 158, 164
Sat: 1890

Not accurate for me, but i still wish my scores were higher.
