Hi. I'm currently a junior in hs. looking for some feedback on how I am doing this year...USNA is my top choice. I'm dying to go there. So here's a little bit about me:

-Enrolled in 2 AP Classes- AP US History and AP English Language & Composition.
-The rest include: Honors Physics, Honors Spanish 3, and Accelerated Alg 2/Trig
-My GPA is about a 3.85
-I am 33/160, which equates to a/b 20% in my class. (Also my high school is nationally recognized as well as state recognized, as one of the most rigorous schools around.)
-I took the SATs earlier than all my classmates. Didn't do as well as I wanted. Got a 1650. Dissapointed about that. Received a scholarship from Kaplan SAT program that is 4 weeks long. Going to take that scholarship and take them again until I get much higher.
-I am going to take the ACTs as well, because I did much better on the PLAN test than the PSATs.
-As for extra-curriculars, I play Golf, Hockey, and played Lacrosse and I am most likely going to play Tennis in the spring. Hockey and Golf were/are both at JV levels. But I was named the Captain of my JV team. As for hockey, my h.s. is ranked #1 in MA, so I'm sure that says alot about me being on JV... which absolutely is not a bad thing.
-Clubs: Participate in Lancers-in-Action, and was named Co-Chair of the Toy Drive.. Lancer Spirit Life which is just a friendly social club, Spanish Club, Sports Management, Recycling Club, Model Congress, Ran for Student Council president but unfortunately did not get elected (Plan to run for a position such as treasurer next year.
-I also have completed over 65 hours of service in < 3 years....
-I have established contact with a congressman who said he would most definitely write me a letter of recc for my congressman who I must go through, within my district.
-I will be applying to Summer Seminar on Feb 1st @ 12:01 AM because I REALLY WANT TO GO.
-Additionally, any idea on classes I should take next year? I have the option to take pretty much anything, so some guidance is much appreciated...
-Lastly, all of my teachers comment the same thing: That I am not naturally smart, I always have to work hard for my grades (which I always do). They also say that I put immense amounts of effort into everything I do.

Hopefully I haven't forgotten anything, but feel free to ask. I really want to go. I've decided that I want to pursue a career in the Navy because I am looking for a challenge, a quality education, and the opportunity to serve my country.

Thanks for all the help in advance,
