<p>Oops! Sorry about the double post. I'm still new at this. </p>
<p>Soccerfanatic, my D is a big tomboy who just discovered the joys (?) of "dressing up". She would not be too comfortable around really preppy, girlie girls. She's been very happy with the culture of acceptance at Pomona. You could probably find all types there, but I think the overall atmosphere is very casual and not competitive.</p>
<p>I totally understand about the disappointment of not getting the first choice of ID seminar--D's was way down on the list. As for bathrooms, I learned that D's is co-ed but she has yet to run into anyone other than her roommate in it.</p>
<p>I'm having an awesome time. People here are really friendly and easy to get along with, and i've had a lot of fun weekends.
It's true, I should be studying right now, but oh well. haha.</p>
<p>Most of my classes are small, except my Chem class which has 54 people in it. It's not really a problem though, the professor has a lot of review sessions outside of class. </p>
<p>Anyways, back to studying for my midterm tommorow!</p>
