I can't speak for Stanford, but I've known several kids (non-URMs) who've gotten into Duke and your credentials are on par with if not better than theirs.

class rank is not reported. Only decile is reported at my school and according to that I am in the top decile. I am probably closer to top 5-6%. Silly question: what is non URM?

URMs are underrepresented minorities (Hispanics, African-Americans, etc) and therefore get slight boosts in admissions at colleges that want the whole diversity thing. Everyone I've known who's gotten into Duke has been Asian or White, non-legacy, middle class, so stats are more or less the only admissions factor for them. Most of them weren't valedictorian or salutatorian either; everyone I know who's going was ranked in the lower end of the top 10 I think. You'll be fine.

yea your scores are really good and you have quite a few leadership positions. i dont think you will have a problem at duke. and i think you have a good shot at stanford. GL!

If I apply SCEA at Stanford do they look at first semester grades senior year?
What do you think my chances are at Stanford for SCEA? Thanks
