<p>I used to think that just being passionate about a certain activity was enough to get into a great engineering school. But after being deferred by Caltech I have to say that strong background in science/engineering activities is a must. Not to say that you have to be a Seimens or Intel winner/ science Olympian. But definitely taken advantage and go maybe beyond the science stuff your school offers.</p>
<p>All I see is a passion in music, which is great!, but probably not going to drag you in. You have the test scores and GPA, no one needs to say that to you. But chances don’t look good for EA.</p>
