Hi, I am a senior. I am applying to harvard, princeton, yale, stanford, MIT, upenn, brown, duke, university chicago, washington university in saint louis, rice, notre dame and rpi. My high school offers many AP class however unfortunately some of them are not very good. Teachers are poor, don't prepare you for the test, don't provide any challenge. I have taken several online classes with the northwestern gll program and have had good experiences with it. I am wondering if it would be ok to take AP classes through the gll program instead of the same AP classes at my high school. I don't want to seem like I'm trying to doge difficult classes at my school. I'm actually doing the opposite. I'm just worried that it will appear that way to colleges. I'd really appreciate some advice on this.
Thanks.
