<p>I'm thinking of becoming a philosophy, psychology, or religion major... something in that respects, but I also want to go to med school after that. I want to study things I love (the humanities) but still be prepared for med school...</p>
<p>JHU is a perfect fit for you then. Humanities are very strong at Hopkins in many areas (history, IR, psych etc) and you can be pre-med in any major (i believe). :) :)</p>
<p>how is the grading there? are the humanities courses graded on as harsh of a curve as are the pre-med classes?</p>
<p>Art History, Classics, Cultural Anthropology, Economics, English/CW, French, German, History, Near Eastern Studies, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology are all very strong. </p>

Yep. Usually all that's required is 2 semesters each of intro chem, organic chem, English, biology with lab, and calc-based physics. Some of these may be taken care of with AP credit. The covered first semester grades at JHU help to make an easier transition to college for pre-meds.</p>
