How are you supposed to wear your hair for college interviews? (females)

I think that if you have your hair down, it comes off as sexy or flirty or playful.

But if you have your hair tied up (low bun, high ponytail, etc) then you're too serious.

which way is best?
(epecially for a women's college)

Umm, I don’t associate personalities with hairstyle. I put my hair up for my interviews because I hate having my hair in my face when I’m talking.

But if you’re really concerned about your hair not being let down or tied up, try getting a really strong hair gel and sculpting all of your hair into a giant tower (for extra points, make it into a recognizable monument). That’s the only thing I can think of that isn’t down or tied up. It’s just…up. I’m sure your interviewer(s) will be very impressed.

Which ever one shows your true personality.

Shave your head

The interviewers don’t care.

Put it in a high, sleek ponytail and curl the end.

It’s a fun twist on a serious look. But it’s true, interviewers don’t really care.

When I interviewed students, I was interested in what was in their heads, not what their hairstyles were.

Like a G6.

Just make sure it’s not messy or greasy.

I don’t think it really matters. Just make sure that your hair looks clean. If you are uncomfortable with having hair up or down, try a half up-half down look. That can look fresh and maybe a bit professional without being over the top.

Just be yourself, and do whatever feels natural and comfortable I guess.
