<p>I’m not social outside of school. But I am social in school. I just feel that there are very few, if not, no one, that likes to talk about what I like to talk about.</p>
<p>^ I’m the opposite, I think I’m more social outside of school.</p>
<p>right now it…it’s nonexistent. i go to boarding school and have moved a lot, so I don’t have any friends where I live. I did visit a friend who lives in the next city over, but the three hour drive both ways is almost more trouble than it’s worth. </p>
<p>at school, however, it’s nonstop. It kind of has to be, since i’m around my friends 24/7. It’s fun. I just with there weren’t so many rules.</p>
<p>Once in a while I will see a movie or go out to lunch with a few friends, but that’s about it. I’m definitely more academically oriented.</p>
<p>^ I try not to be like that. I take my academics seriously, but I think that’s why some of my friends don’t really talk to me anymore.</p>
<p>^ Lol in retrospect that post does seem a bit harsh. I’m not the kind of obsessive person who spends her whole life stuck in her room studying like a maniac and never sees the light of day. I just don’t go to wild parties and stuff. If you count hanging out with friends at academic competitions and tournaments, then I actually have quite an active social life! Plus I have really strict parents, so that limits a lot of my options.</p>
<p>It was always bad but it was completely flatlined once my best friend moved to 350 miles away very suddenly. I just hung out with a few friends today (solely because the aforementioned friend was in for a visit), but this was the first time since February.</p>
