How awesome would it be...

To eat meals in Commons every day?

It would be pretty awesome. Especially to eat at the NEW Andover Commons. Has anyone else seen the pictures yet? It looks so amazing! I hope they have LOTS of ice cream.

lol, that and frozen yoghurt.

Eating in Commons would be like… eating in HISTORY ITSELF. Like… Think how many awesome people ate here! With the exception of two less notable presidents

Yes! Lots and lots of frozen yogurt!! And pie!

Haha. How did politics worm its way into here? The whole school has so much history, it’s amazing! Just living on campus would be amazing too. Just think, who used to live in your room?

It could be the guy who invented Morse Code… Maybe to guy who designed New York’s Central Park… Maybe the guy who invented Wrigley’s chewing gum… and so many more

Haha when I went to Andover this summer, it was so awesome. On every historical building there is a plaque about the person it’s named after. Like Morse hall is the math building. I loved it and all the dorms are so cool.

Ugh during my visit to andover, they were still doing construction. Made the campus seem so dead…

Yeah they were in construction when I was there. It was very noisy. Andover has a goregeous campus though.

I could have cared less about the construction :-)

The campus was still amazing to me.

It was so pretty… Too flat and spread out for my aesthetic senses, though. The buildings were great!

Ooh… Saer, city girl much?

I thought Andover was breathtaking. Personally, I liked Exeter better, it just felt more… right.

Nope. HILLS. We live in the valleys of Upstate New York, where the horizon is basically hills.

Yikes. I was off. Sounds pretty though!

What was your favorite part of the Andover campus? Mine was the Art Gallery.

Mine was a combo on the Gym and the Library ;)

some photos and an update on the construction on Commons.

[February 4, 2009 Construction Update](http://www.andover.edu/mediagallery/PareskyCommonsRenovation/Feb4/Pages/Default.aspx)

wow, that looks beautiful. it would be great to eat in there

i slept overnight at the andover inn… so i had a mini tour by myself in the night. it was december, an d the night was right before a big snow storm.the campus was covered with fresh snow- untouched w/ the absence of the busy students. it was magical…

the whole campus was covered with snow. it was beautiful with the dressing of white

in the dark i visited sam phils, the bell tower, the library, etc… i regret so much not taking a pic (i went w/out telling my parents, LOL got in such trouble)

you guys know that circle thingie in front of samuel phillips? what is that? but that is so cool… i sat there by myself, crushing the untouched pure snow… and the snow was icy at the top so my footprints were conspicuous

magical moment… sorry ppl im writing a novel here but it was really magical

… and the construction kinda ruined it, but oh well still magical
