Let me explain. As of now, my schedule looks like this:
Teacher aide
Symphonic Band
College in the Schools English (Modern Fiction)
AP Environmental Science
AP Macroeconomics
AP Calculus AB

My English class is a very rigorous college class linked to the University of Minnesota, involving the completion of a novel and multiple essays every two weeks. I recently learned that this class will grant me all the English credits I need to graduate this year, so I could have another open hour. I originally signed up for a feminist literature class, but I dropped it, leaving me with Band, AP Enviro, AP US Gov, and AP Calculus for my second semester.

Will this look really bad for colleges? I know that by then, I will have submitted my applications but I know they will also look at my end-of-year report. The classes I would have left are the classes I am most interested in, but are also the ones I struggle in the most. I was thinking that perhaps a lighter workload would give me more time to focus on these subjects (I will also be taking the AP tests for all four of my AP courses). I would most likely take another TA hour instead of the fem lit class.

I have had a full schedule for all of high school, so I am worried that this schedule will make me look like I'm slacking off. I really just want to be able to enjoy the rest of high school I have left, but still do well in the classes I have. Should I keep this schedule, or change it so that I have fem lit again?

Thank you!
