Everything else is there (strong rank, GPA, SAT I, EC's, etc. etc.)

World History - 760
Biology - 740
Math IIC - 710 <<<<< This is the one I'm really worried about - especially coming here and seeing everyone's 800's
Physics - 700 (But they only look at 3 right?!?)

• Harvard says that the "majority of students admitted to the College represent a range of scores from roughly 600 to 800". Your scores definitely fall in that range.
• Those scores aren't bad. AT ALL.
• Those scores won't make you a shoo in, but they certainly won't be detrimental.
• If you post here, you've really got to keep in touch with reality. It's hard when you see all these amazing applicants, but know that CCers are not the norm.
• Try really hard not to compare yourself to others on CC. This site represents a self-selected population, and many people who post here have stats that are way beyond those of the average college applicant.

I'm surprised that CC posters are a self-selected population.. I would have thought the ones with the best stats would be least worried (and would be more likely to have the best advice and information available)

LeBron -- I can't believe you made that post, and further, that you are genuinely worried. Those are great scores, especially World History, which is a harder test. If you are already a contender for admission, those scores will help your case, and not hurt you.

Hahaha... I have to keep repeating this, but it's important: Just because some people with higher scores don't get in doesn't mean you won't!!!

Incidentally, most people that post their scores on collegeconfidential are people that are proud of them (I'm not sayin they're arrogant, I'm just saying that people are more inclined to post their scores if they got a 2400 rather than a 2100, or whatever). This means that the scores posted on college confidential in no way reflect the majority of Harvard applicants.

This is a common topic recently on these boards (I guess that as the EA approaches, everyone's getting nervous about what hurt them on their applications) so I'm just going to say to everyone: PLEASE stop worrying. You'll get in or you won't get in, but no one on these boards can tell you how much your scores will hurt. I feel like you're looking for validation- like it'll feel good to read that they aren't bad (and they aren't, by the way). Being nervous isn't going to help anyone!
