<p>So Helena - were you able to find out more about taking the PLAN? They don’t give it at my daughter’s school either (CA public high school) and when I asked about it were pretty much unfamiliar with it. When I explained that it was the preliminary test for the ACT the response was “oh no - we don’t give that - only the PSAT” - frustrating! I, too, wondered if my daughter could take it somewhere on her own. I did see, on the Kaplan website, under “Free” events - that they have sites where you can take a practice test for $25.00 (umm…how is that “free”…?) - I guess that might be the next best thing.
