I’m getting a new AP Human Geography teacher and he barely gives A’s ( he gave out 3 out of almost 200 kids last year)! How do I go about getting an A?

Can you ask anyone from last year how they got an A? Or how they didn’t?
- Class Participation? Is it quality or quantity?
- Homework?
- Essays?
- Extra Credit?
