I got my ID, but can I use that to login somewhere and check my application status?
Pitt’s Technology Help Desk should be emailing you with information to log into the applicant portal where you can check your application status (a username and temporary password). It takes a few business days from the day you submit your application for them to send that information.
The applicant ID (a string of numbers with an “a” in front of them) is emailed from our office and is what you can use to identify yourself to our office when you need to give us a call. If you are admitted, it is also what you will use to request access to our Class of 2023 Facebook Group. Finally, if you choose to commit to Pitt you will need to use your applicant ID to identify yourself.
