Does anyone know how you can be sure that your application is complete and ready for review? Do you get a message on Wolverine access that your application is complete?

If everything under “Other Required Application Materials” says Received, your application is complete.

So, there is no actual message anywhere on the Wolverine access that says “your application is complete”?

The functionality for that feature does exist on WA, but UM doesn’t use it for most applications. It was turned on for all earlier this week and then turned off again because it was found to be inaccurate (as it’s a manual process and lags behind receipt of all materials).

You may get an email and then again you may not. If everything under “Other Required Application Materials” says Received, it’s safe to assume your application is complete.

I’m a bit confused. I don’t see “Other Required Application Materials” on WA. Am I blind or what?

Click on application status on the left then click view credentials - if completed, it should say received for all of them.

hi on the U of M web, it says to put your name and ID # on essays. How do we get an ID #??

Thanks.

You won’t receive an ID number until after your application is submitted (unless UM has sent you mail before, in which case it’s on there).

You can just put your name.

I don’t have anything like “view credentials.” It has…admit term…academic career…academic program…application #…application date. Beneath that it says “Available links will vary based on application.”

I’m getting a little worried. I might call them tomorrow to see what’s up. It could possibly be that they haven’t uploaded the materials to WA yet since I just applied on Saturday. On the other hand, I would think it would be automatic…I sent my ACT scores last February, at least that should be there.

Lots of people lose hair by thinking about things they haven’t interacted with. PeopleSoft is a pain.

As such, as the ID email states, you should wait a week after receiving it before expecting any application status to be available.
