<p>Hi! This is my first post here and I'm very excited. I've been looking at colleges for a while now, and Pepperdine is my favorite so far. The only issue is its strong Christian ties. Now I am not an atheist, in fact i closely align my morals and beliefs with Christianity and I love learning about god and discussion so the affiliation isn't an issue in that way, but I'm wondering since I don't consider myself a devoted Christian will I be a little outcasted? I know your wondering why do you like Pepperdine if you don't love an essential part of it? Well I'm from Hawaii so it's (relatively) close to home, I loooove the study abroad/ international opportunities, the sense of community/ the inclusive Greek life with strong philanthropy and it is a good school for my score range. Thanks so much for answering I look forward to being a part I this community!!</p>
