Sooo guys, how close were your scores on the collegeboard tests to the scores you got on the actual test?

My individual scores were virtually similar to those that I scored on the actual test. But I personally only completed three of the tests in one sitting and spread the rest of the material out over the course of about five to six weeks.

@mifune what was your score

I had a 2400 after my third attempt.

can you tell me your first two scores? and these are for the real test right

Yes, I am referring to the actual test. My first two SAT scores were 2340 and 2350, respectively. For the three practice tests I took in one setting, I had two 2400s and one 2350. Overall, my BB scores were slightly higher than the cumulative average of my scores on the actual tests, but the difference is relatively minimal (twenty points average). I did not total my scores for the other BB tests that I spaced out over the course of 5-6 weeks, but I did pretty well.

In the BB my math individual score was usually around 780-800
My reading score was around 670-720
My writing score ranged anywhere from 650-760
My totals were usually around 2100-2150
On the actual SAT though, my math score was the lowest. I scored a 710 in math, a 780 in writing, and an 800 in CR which in total was an 2290 so I actually did better on the real SAT then with the practice tests, but either way, the scores were pretty close

I only took the SAT one time though, hopefully my score will come out better in the January test

thanks guys, this really helped.

i always score lower on practice tests.

Before my May SAT i would score low 600’s for CR, and high 600’s for math and writing. on the real test, however, i scored 670 on CR, 730 math and 760 writing.

Many students actually score better on the actual test than the practice exams. This is probably attributed to the fact that one is usually more concentrated under real testing conditions.

Yeah, I got a 770 in M on the actual test while I normally got 700+ on the practice tests.

i got 300 pts lower on practice tests… weird :)
