How come ApplyTexas is very unspecific?

The application is very general and doesn't ask for specifics (AP scores, SAT and ACT scores, etc.). It makes me very nervous. :|

I was asked for my SATs...
Are you sure you're looking at the right thing?

same for me. Thay asked if I took the SATs, but not my score...personally, I like the commonapp structure more than the texascommonapp

Yeah...that's what I meant (that they do not ask for exacts, just if you've taken them or not)

I believe they do not ask for specifics because your scores have to be sent to them directly from collegeboard (if you took the SATs or any AP tests), anyway. Same for grades- your high school has to send them your grades directly, so it would be pointless for you to tell them your grades or scores on the application.

Yeah, but since most people say that colleges do not require AP scores sent, but require SAT/ACT scores to be sent, what can be said about how important AP scores are supposedly are (for tx schools atleast)?
