<p>Would you say that they consider your talent more on your video/photos/dramatic essay as opposed to creative experience?</p>
<p>Personally I think that they will look at what you can produce more than your experience. People can take advantage of connections and gain opportunites to put together a great resume, but it does not mean they are creative or talented. Plus assisting on a film shoot can mean anything from serving coffee and taking lunch orders to more hands on experience.</p>
<p>What is most important is the film reel you can create or the essay you can write which can more clearly demonstrate your potential. It evens out the playing field…so that students from places that do not offer internships or access to good technology can still prove their creativity.</p>
