75-100 girls on the 9th grade waiting list on average every year.
50-60 boys on the 9th grade waiting list on average every year.
-- i am not positive about the boys average, but that is what my friend (waitlisted) said.</p>
<p>I know of two applicants (not already counted among those posting here) who were admitted at the other TSAO schools they applied to this year and were wait listed at Hotchkiss. Hotchkiss wasn't their top choice, so it made no difference to either of them. Obviously they're not staying on the wait list. If you're keeping score, I suppose you'd add two to the wait list and then subtract two. In light of this thread, however, it does seem peculiar...even for a process that's rife with peculiarities.</p>
