Looking to see how competative I am to get into a psychology MA program at a CSU. The prospective advisor will be accepting 2 students. My cumalative gpa is 2.85 but my major gpa is about 3.3-3.4. 1 year as a research assistant at my schools animal behavior lab. Will be conducting independent research with a possible publication in spring. I also have been a volunteer for 2 years doing field research for the San Diego Zoo Institute for Conservation Research whom my prospective adviser and school has ties with to study primates. I will have great letters of rec, one from my lab professor and one from a senior research coordinator at the zoo.

Just worried about my gpa, any opinions?

p.s. the CSU school has no mimimum for gpa and gre, and the entire psychology MA program had a 20% acceptance of 60 students who applied to the psychology MA program total.
