Chances into grad school?

<p>I keep thinking about my chances. Applying to CSU masters psychology program for psychology. The whole program accepts around 20 (60% acceptance) students but the comparative psychology adviser I wish to work with only will accept 1-2. </p>

<p>Overall GPA: 2.8 (sloppy freshman and sophomore years)
Major GPA: 3.4-3.45 ( upper division As and Bs)
Research: 1 year working as a research assistant in animal behavior lab and conducting independent research this spring with a possible publication.
Will have great letters of rec from lab professor, another professor and a san diego zoo senior research coordinator.<br>
GRE - taking this Friday, expecting OK scores</p>

<p>what are my chances into a CSU MA psych program?</p>

<p>My resume looks the same except my GPA overall is a 2.8, but I have no work experience.</p>
