How competitive is Penn State University Park's summer sessions?

Would it look good to take both anatomy and physics or not? Also my school has no course that I ever heard of Human Geography.

What would be borderline for admission to PSU-University Park?

Ask about AP Human geography.
Your school may not have it but if it does it’s one if the easiest AP 's.
Other 'easy ’ AP 's include AP psychology and AP stats.
No, take physics and honors English + honors Spanish to increase rigor in the classes you actually take.
Anatomy and physiology doesn’t add rigor to the courses you’re taking and it’s not part of the three important science classes they want to see. You must focus on what will raise rigor.

The middle 50% for admission for PSU UP campus for both summer and fall admission is 3.55 - 3.97 and a 1170-1350 SAT or 26-30 ACT score. The closer you are to the bottom of the middle 50% for each area, the more likely you are to get a commonwealth campus. Your GPA is already below the middle 50%, so to have the best chance, your ACT or SAT scores should be at the upper end. You are currently below borderline.

My daughter didn’t have ANY AP classes and got into UP campus for summer 2015 with a 3.5 GPA and a 29 ACT. Her GPA was on the lower side, but her ACT score made up the difference. She also was enrolled in dual enrollment classes at a PSU branch campus and had taken many honors classes. Her school also weighted very difficult, which made her 3.5 actually much better than a 4.0 at a neighboring school.

At this point, you can’t change your GPA. You can change the rigor of your senior year coursework and you can do well on your test scores. That will be the deciding factor. If you end up with average SAT scores that also place at or below the middle 50%, then chances are you will be deferred to a commonwealth campus. Make sure to put a commonwealth campus as a back up or else you could be denied outright.

DUS, summer session option and apply by Nov 30. That’s your best shot.

^Dual enrollment “counts” the same as AP or IB in terms of rigor and for the purpose of estimating whole rigor, honors classes are added to them. So if your daughter had 16 honors/dual enrollment classes from her 4 years in HS she’d be in a good position, despite having no AP.
However, having no AP, no DE, no IB, and no honors, would be a significant problem.
I agree OP needs a high test score and better rigor for senior year.
Even with that, PSU UP will be a reach but at least it’ll be reachable.

@MYOS1634 I will probably be taking Statistics during dual enrollment, along with Student Success, which will teach me skills to help me with the rigor of college work for future reference. I hope to take Psychology during the Spring of Dual Enrollment. And they are college courses so yes they are AP,so how can they be a reach. Also, they do consider extracurriculars so I think they would get me in if I don’t. Please let me know your opinion

On your list, the fact you had dual enrollment classes didn’t appear and we couldn’t guess it.
If you have dual enrollment classes senior year and honors the other years, you’re okay.
2/3 of the decision is course rigor + grades/gpa, with 3.5 typically the lowest accepted for UP. Since your GPA is lower than what they want, you need to compensate with course rigor and high test scores.
Ec’s are only cherry on the cake, they can’r make up for your GPA (unless you’re a recruited athlete.)

Recruited athletes get full scholarships, that is why.

Do you think it is possible to get in without any honors, and only dual enrollment courses?

You have to add up ALL honors, AP, IB, AICE, and Dual Enrollment classes you took freshman-junior + those scheduled for senior year. If you have 16+ you’re okay, 20+ is best, and the further away from 16 you are the worse it is, with 0 being a really tough obstacle to overcome (unless your school offers none of these).

My GPA is most likely going to hit close to 3.5 by the end of the school year because I have 2 full year courses which do not get factored into my GPA until the end. Both of them I did significantly well the first 3 quarters, I cannot imagine I will not do the same in this last quarter and overall.
