I know that the hardest major to get into at JHU is BME, but what about Public Health?
In terms of difficulty to get in? Very hard.
Extremely difficult. Hopkins has the #1 Public Health program in the country (or, #2 if you live in Cambridge!), so it’s in demand.
Just assume at least median numbers to be competitive.

I’m assuming you’re talking about undergrad in which case I respectfully disagree with the above posters.
Hopkins undergrad public health is not impacted at all meaning that there is no additional admission process to be admitted as a public health student. The University will make a decision as to whether or not you’re admitted and you’ll be admitted as an undeclared Arts and Sciences student. After your freshman year you’ll have the option to declare literally any of the undergrad majors (except BME). So undergrad public health at Hopkins is exactly as competitive as “standard” admission at Hopkins.
Don’t get me wrong, admission to Hopkins undergrad is competitive, but there is no additional competitiveness associated with getting into the public health program.
as a current undergrad, this is true. In fact public health is considered the “cop-out major” at Hopkins due to its light major requirements and (relatively) easy classes. If you declare public health at hopkins you might find yourself looking for a second major to tack on
