How creative can you get on supplement essay?

I’m working on an essay for this prompt:

C. French novelist Anatole France wrote: “An education isn’t how much you have committed to memory, or even how much you know. It’s being able to differentiate between what you do know and what you don’t.” What don’t you know?

How creative do you think you can get? I know Brown is pretty liberal, so would it be ok to deviate from the typical essay structure? Like, could I write a poem or something if I wanted (I don’t want to, I’m just curious as to how structured it needs to be).

I’m guessing you can really be as creative as you want.
For my common app essay for Brown, part of it was a poem, and the format itself was definitely not a typical essay structure. Hopefully it paid off.

My essay for that prompt was more a combination of narrative and rhetorical questions. It definitely doesn’t have to follow the traditional format, but I would say at least keep the connection between your writing and the prompt very clear.
